Blackmagic Design released a pretty gigantic update to some of its product lineup last night. Along with the release of DaVinci Resolve 18 Beta, the company also released a new line of Cloud Store devices and two new Hyperdeck products. The new Hyperdeck Shuttle HD and the also new Hyperdeck Extreme 4K HDR are the subject of this post, so read on! To truly enable seamless online collaboration, Blackmagic Design not only had to update DaVinci Resolve to implement new the functionality, but also release new hardware. Blackmagic Design Hyperdeck Shuttle HD Hyperdeck Shuttle HD is a recorder/player designed for desktop use as an on-demand media player. This new model supports recording and playback of ProRes, DNx, and H.264 files, as well as PCM or AAC audio. It features a large metal search wheel and traditional broadcast deck controls for quickly browsing through media.
